Yesterday, I panicked when I heard about the news about Bruno’s mom, Bernie being rushed to the hospital for suffering a heart attack. One of the family members confirmed it but said she was okay. But I remember waking up earlier to headlines that she passed away at 55 with brain aneurysm and next thing I knew, I broke down crying for an hour telling myself, “No, this can’t be happening.” But it did. And I felt like I had just lost my mom and not being able to thank her. People say it’s no big deal, but for me it’s a pretty deal considering without her talents, her blood, sweat and tears, her patience, and her genes, there would be no Peter Gene - a man I admire for his abilities and showmanship. He was a mama’s boy, writing his first ever song at age 4 for her, his first tattoo was her name, he decided to quit smoking just for her, he bought her a house before he even got one for himself, and technically dedicated everything for this woman. She raised 6 kids all by herself to be amazing individuals. I say she got to complete her mission of seeing her children reaching for and fulfilling their dreams. So Bernadettet San Pedrot Bayot, thank you for everything. You and your family has been a big part of my life and it will never be forgotten #RIPBernie

all i know is if bruno writes a song about his mom i will cry my eyes out when i listen to it
